Grief changes over time and becomes part of life. and you look for other ways to live with the experiences you have gained. Support and guidance is available via the national health service helpline 1177 Vårdguiden, as well as other organisations and networks.

Plan your finances

If you have had a shared economy with the deceased, your household finances will change. Sources of income are discontinued and, in certain cases, insurance and survivor’s pension payments will cease. It may be a good idea to prepare a budget and, if you are a pensioner, find out if you are eligible for housing supplement.
